Hey everyone!

My friend :iconmisterlion: is making a really cool game based on a very unique idea, with an awesome art style to go with it. If you love space shooters, all the more you need to check this out.He needs enough support for it to become real, so if you think it's a cool idea that needs to happen please help out!

For those not familiar with how Kickstarter works, you pledge the amount you want to, and that amount will go to the project if he manages to reach his goal of $6000. (If not, you won't get charged. Also, if you pledge certain amounts there's a lot of awesome goodies in store.)

Check out this [link] for more art and info on the project.

Cheers everyone,
Em

Hey guys,

A friend of mine, :iconfayefayehsu: is entering the dA Cute Monster contest so it'd be super awesome if you guys can check out her entry, and if you like, vote for it. She's fairly new so I'm trying to get her the exposure she deserves cause her stuff friggin rocks!

Her entry-> [link]

Cheers,
Em

P.S: I know I'm being a little incognito lately, but I promise in a month's time I'll be spamming my gallery with new art. I've been doing a lot of work for an upcoming gallery show, so stay tuned!
Not sure how many of you have heard of or played Bastion by Supergiant Games--> [link]

But it is AWESOME. I was excited for it when I first saw the trailer linked by *JenZee, (who, by the way, made ALL the art in the game.) but only managed to find time during this thanksgiving break to play it. And it definitely took my breath away. Everything about it was amazing, the art and music was beautiful, the gameplay was fun and the storytelling was really well done. If you love games like Legend of Zelda series or Diablo, this is a must play for you. (It's on discount on Steam right now, just a fyi)

It's just very inspiring for me personally to see a team of passionate people out to make awesome games like these. So do give them the support as they deserve it.

That is all for now. Hurry up and get the game already! If I'm not convincing enough you could always try the demo on Steam. :D

Cheers, peeps!

Now unto personal stuff, First of all I'll like to thank everyone for the feedback you guys gave me to help me create my "Designing Robots" tutorial. Every comment was helpful insight into letting me know what topics to touch on. I've already made a rough draft of it, but it has to be put on hold because of the amount of work (fulltime and freelance) that I have at the moment.

Also, APE (Alternative Press Expo) is coming up and I'll have to prepare for that too. Is anyone here gonna be attending it? I'll be sharing a booth there with some of my friends selling my prints.

Before I go I just wanna give a big shoutout to all new watchers, and a big thanks to my old ones for supporting me all this while. Thanks a bunch, guys! Hope everyone's doing good! Cheers!

Hey everyone,

I'm drafting out a tutorial for designing/drawing robots. In the tutorial I'll be touching on the basics of starting a robot concept and what are my thought process and emphasis as I work on a design.

So this post is to ask you guys if there's anything you'd like to know about doing robot designs? Is there any issue or topic you'll like me to touch on, let me know here. Hopefully I'll be able to make a pretty comprehensive tutorial with your input.

Hope everyone had a good 4th of July!

P.S: My 200k pageviews kiriban is coming up. If you can catch a screenshot of it, I'll paint something for ya. *wink wink*

So a friend of mine, ~Avatar-pwnz did a livestream painting session today and it kinda made me want to do one of my own... but I'm not sure if anyone would wanna see me paint. Lol.But I'm wondering, if I did do a livestream, what do you guys want to see me paint? (robot, creature, character?) and what issues would you like me to address? (I guess this would mean: color choices, painting techniques? painting different materials, etc) So yeah, give me some feedback and I'll try to come up with something to paint and share with you guys. :3

P.S: Yes, I know I owe you guys a tutorial. I'll probably work on it after I graduate.. which is.. pretty.. soon.

Cheers!

Is it just me or is dA being a little wonky for the past few days? Sometimes when I load a deviation page all my comments and stats disappear, and I seem to have to keep refreshing, or sometimes the page wouldn't load, or my deviation suddenly go down in quality. Are they doing some "upgrades" again?

So APE is going to happen in a few weeks, and my friends and I will be there selling our artbook and prints. For more information on our artbook you can check out the links below. :D

So we've finally found out our table location. Ours will be table number 543. The map layout with our table location is located in either links.

So I'm wondering if anyone planning to go for it? Would love to meet some fellow deviants there.

So I checked my inbox today and was confuzzled to see so many people faving "My Gift". And later I found out it got a DD. Thanks `gucken for the suggestion and `Norke for the feature, and for all my faithful friends and watchers on dA. Sorry I haven't been active lately but I do check your messages and are thankful for your support, and especially...especially for the LLAMA BADGES HELL YEAH!

P.S: I realised both my DD were pieces I dedicated to my girlfriend. Haha.
  • Mood: I Have To Pee
A big thanks to all those that gave me an llama badge. I wouldn't have gotten an albino llama without your help. Thank you!

P.S: Please keep sending me llama badges, the rest of you.
  • Mood: I Have To Pee
Thanks a lot for nothing, Bill.
  • Mood: I Have To Pee
No. I did not forget to leave a comment, I did not have ANYTHING to say about it. Faving a work should be synonymous to me saying "I like this piece." And usually, if I fav it, I don't really have anything much to say about it. That is the best I can give. If I don't fav, then I might leave a comment on what I feel is working and what isn't, which might be the reason to me not faving something. I feel this faving and commenting something like "I LUVZ YOUR PIECE SO MUCH!" or "I LIKE IT." or "IT'S AWESOME!!" is unnecessary in my opinion. However, I myself do it sometime but it should be something out of your own will and I do it to give a pat on the back to some of my friends here for doing an awesome job. You don't comment just because a stupid icon tells you to, WHERE'S THE SINCERITY IN THAT? You should only comment if you really do want to say something to the artist. It's quite irritating when an artist forces you to fav and comment on their work just so they can get praises and be falsely modest about it.

So please stop asking me to comment everytime I fav something, stupid dA.

P.S: Dear dA, I am quite disappoint that you moved the fav button. Thanks alot for moving something that used to be conveniently placed next to the piece, to somewhere where I have to scroll all over to look.

It keeps getting uglier and uglier.
  • Mood: I Have To Pee
Bye bye, Saejin.
  • Mood: I Have To Pee
I logged in, and I saw, horror of horrors.. comments on my work and journal were shortened and shrinked into.. stacks. UGH. Comment stacks??!! What was wrong with it unstacked? Now things just got more complicated in my opinion. I wasn't too happy when they stacked my deviation but that was still ok. Now the comments are stacked too?

Some people might like it. I guess. But I personally don't like going into different windows. It irritates me.

EDIT: Oh. There's actually a toggle off button which I wasn't aware of. >_> I really wonder what happened to those days when things were nice and simple.
