Some steampunky goodness I just have to share. I SO WISH THIS WAS AN ACTUAL MOVIE. Needs more awesomely epic steampunk movie. I can't even remember what was the last good steampunk movie. Wild Wild West Maybe? Note, I loved the movie for the steampunkyness btw, not the acting.

So I woke up today at around 11am, after sleeping pretty late last night, feeling a little half-asleep and lethargic. I go onto my computer, turned it on, and log on dA.

I suddenly realised I have 900 over messages and being in that half-conscious state, I was wondering if I'm reading things wrong or if there's something wrong with my account because when something like this happens to people it's usually because they got a DD, and I don't think I have one.. cause I don't see any notification telling me so.. I went through a few of my recent ones to check anyway.. nope.. no DD. What's going on here?? Where did all favs come from? I rechecked my stuff again and found out it's my Mr. White Rabbit piece.

I go LOLWAT.

Besides that.. this is gonna be a really busy semester. I can already feel it. Though it's going to involve more film/animation production stuff.. so I'm not sure how much illustrations I'll be producing but we'll see how thing goes. Till then, cheers, peepos!

Hello everynyan!

My hiatus has finally ended, and hopefully I'm looking at a productive semester ahead of me. I've just had my first class today. The teacher is an art director from Pixar, who've worked on Wall-E and Finding Nemo. Honestly, I find having such a teacher quite intimidating, and hearing about how harsh he is with his critique, is quite scary too, but I guess this will be for the best.

Finally met as he is taking that class with me. Really awesome, friendly guy. Not to mention super-talented too. If you haven't seen his art, GO SEE NOW.

Anyway, since I don't read much, I kind of need a short story for my class. Anyone has any suggestion? Something short, and pretty well known but not so popular as well. I'm thinking of maybe doing a grimm tale or something. But yeah, if anyone know a story involving.. maybe either dragons, or monster.. or robots.. that'd be sweet for me to work on. Suggest away peepo!

So as most of you who watch me might know, I'm on my way for a 3 month hibernation from dA. Right now I'm at the Taipei International Airport waiting for my transfer flight back to Malaysia. And once I'm there, I usually disappear from the face of the intrawebs for a good ol 3 months cause I'll be busy with family and all. So this is just to give you guys a headsup in case you don't hear from me for the next few months. I'm not dead, or stop posting or anything, I'm just taking a break...

And the only art related things I would be doing during the summer would just be sketchbook stuff and self studies so don't expect anything new from me till September. Hope those who are schooling, you guys have a great summer and I'll catch ya'all in the Fall. Adios!
