Did this instead of homework. yay! Probably my first mecha drawing in a long long time. Actually had a proper bg but I decided to scrap that. Too lazy and halfway through I was pretty burned out to work on this anymore.

A very ~greyhole inspired piece.

Yeah, my friend said the head resembles eva too, but oh well.

yeah, it's the pilot's arms. He's supposed to be part of the mecha itself.

Good to see some mech works from you again.

Looking on the comment, i guess common problem with all designs for mechs. Getting a original and good looking head part.

Looks like you are like me, very inspired by the Ghost in Shell / Appleseed mechs designs. The Four arms systems is their trademark in designs.

Yeah, the worst part is when my friend told me it never struck to me at all it looked like EVA's head designs.

Yeah, I'm a big fan of Masamune Shirow's designs :D He's such a visionary in the mecha world. Wish I could think like him, and like Yoji Shinkawa..

haha don't worry bout the head part, even i have problems with them.

It's not really hard to figure how those two sensei's think actually. They love to use everyday stuff then add a good blend of military stuff into design. Thus making them looks almost real and logical. But blending a good two object together is the challenge cause at times they never come out they way you want them. XD
